3M anti-shatter films consist of a wafer-thin, multi-layer polyester film construction. They act like a tear-resistant, almost impenetrable protective shield on window glass and glass doors. This protects property from theft and vandalism. Damage to people, buildings and furniture caused by flying glass splinters can be greatly reduced as the film holds the shattered glass together.
